How I got here: Taking a leap of faith

I worked in Edmonds for 10 years as an administrative assistant and taught myself how to use design programs for print and web publications—not only to improve my output for my employer, but because I found them fun and challenging. As 2009 dawned, I determined it was time to take a leap of faith and begin my own business in desktop publishing. It was a tough decision to leave relative security in these economic times, but I did what I felt I had to do—hold my breath, close my eyes and jump!
